I’m a Royal Milk Tea with pearls🧋man. If you are going here for the first time make sure you get the app to register your order and obtain the credit. Collect enough credit and you’ll get a free tea. Out of all the bubble tea shops Goncha has the best customer rewards system.
No line up, we had our teas within two minutes. Which was super fast. This place is consistently providing good service and quality drinks and hence the five star ratings. I also enjoy the flourish drink compared to many of their competitors.
Gongcha drinks are pretty standardised and consistently taste good. However it’s disappointing to see that the female staff at the CBD store seems to hate her job. Not one smile, reluctant attitude, poor service. I’m pretty sure all the other one star reviews complaining about poor service is also directed at her. It will be in her best interest to try to do better. This work attitude is not good for any kind of business.
We tried to order 10 mins before closing they are absolutely unhappy to get orders.

But there attitude was terrible. My brothers came from overseas to Brisbane for sightseeing that them last night in Australia. Our travel was perfect but ruined by them, let us down.
I really disappointed and will never back.

Of the 2 Gong Chas’ currently located in the Brisbane CBD, this is our preferred one. Whilst it’s very popular and there’s often a queue, the staff are very quick and get through the lines very efficiently so there isn’t a long wait. The selection of bubble teas are so extensive and they often have some seasonal specials on offer to choose from. There’s plenty of seating downstairs and upstairs. The upstairs seating can get a bit warm in Summer and a little noisy from the speakers on the roof. But the views to the street traffic is perfect for people watching as you sip your delicious bubble teas.
Called in here with my daughter for a cup sleeve event. The huge amount of drinks was mind blowing. Lovely, friendly staff.
Extremely rude service. The person serving us was using their phone whilst serving us. Did not look at us. We asked a question, they did not even answer us. Made to feel like we were putting them out just by ordering. Served just now - Monday 6 November @ 12pm.
Received a much better service from this store than the one on Adelaide street. The staff were friendly and gave suggestions. I was however after the sticky brown sugar milk tea but apparently it's out of stock. Ended up with their regular brown sugar milk tea which was still great.
girl working 10:30 am 16 november has terrible attitude. everytime she is the cashier i am annoyed. she rolls her eyes doesn’t even talk or acknowledge you. one time i came in and she was standing at the back eating, looked bothered there were people trying to order and didn’t say a word to me when taking my order coz food was in her mouth. also tried buying royal milk tea in ginger bread cup. she told me it cost more than the ginger bread milk tea even tho advertised on the sign it’s the same price as ginger bread milk tea. that attitude is why u are a grown adult working at a gongcha… if u r so unhappy with ur job QUIT AND FIND A BETTER ONE UR AN ADULT
